AN ELF & A GIFT & HAPPY NEW YEAR

Hope you all will have a great year…I am planning on it…It will be a better year! This is a Christmas gift my dd gave to me. A beach Merry Christmas wreath. The Santa face she painted on a shell and then glued it and other shells and driftwood on a wreath from. These and other things she now sculpts the cheeks and nose on the item and then she paints the face. This one is not sculpted. I am going to make a beach welcome wreath for MySweetDream soon. Shells and driftwood.
And this is the E atc card swap I received from my partner Sally at http://blogtobless.blogspot.com/ It seems like we both had the same idea with the letter E = Elf. I used the main man elf Santa himself and she used this cute little helper elf. I love it Sally thanks so much.

Thanks AJ for being my partner I love your work! I will show you the one I sent AJ on the next post. Not making much right now because of packing up my craft/art room. I have to put everything in totes so that this summer with all the heat and humidity it will not get ruined. And I need to move it all to one side of the room so dad can get to the hurricane shutters if needed. He stores them out there. But soon as I get that done I will be working on a few things, like my monthly tags for that swap. I don't want to get behind while traveling north. I will still be doing swaps while in PA. maybe just not as many. I have a lot of work to do and will not have much time to play. I am feeling much better this year so hope to get some painting done upstairs. Well that's it for now thanks for looking and come back soon.

ATC-TAG, PACKING UP

Few more ATC's and a tag I made up before I started to pack up.Really like this lady she is not fall or Halloween. Got her in one of my swap envelopes. Guess she could be the fall / harvest lady. And a sweet little boo kitty. And then this silly little guy.
Just wanted to do a last post for a few weeks. I am leaving for Florida in 10 days. I packed up some large totes with my art supplies. I think I may have too many. I really want to camp on the way down, hate motels, so I think I will have to leave some stuff here. I had a couple pieces of furniture that I wanted to take, but that won't happen either. I will be stopping in VA to visit my daughter and her family. Then head on down south. I am ready to get going. I have a few Mystery Envelopes made up so I can still do those swaps. The last few swaps that I participated in I had sent to Florida, so it will be the end of Sept. before they are posted here.
Sept. 8 Guess I will finish up this post, I started it last week. I have been sick since Monday with a cold. I have not had a cold in over 5 years, and have had two this summer. I will be glad to get back to Florida. I went to a yard sale today and got 57 old post cards from about 1910-1915.
