This is a sweet little summer girl tag!

Sorry I don't have all the info on these swaps , it is still all packed away somewhere. You can check them out on Tee's blog. I worked in craft room yesterday, and emptied all the totes now have to find somewhere to put all my stuff. Went to a couple yard sales today looking for shelving , tables, etc but found nothing. I did make enough space on my work table to start a couple more swaps I signed up for. Well not much for today thanks for looking and come back soon

A COUPLE OF SWAPS

Here are a couple of swaps I received in the last few weeks. This one was from Tee's Bathing Beauties swap. My partner for this swap was Franny what a wonderful tag this is. I love it Franny. Franny does not have a blog. You should go for one Franny your work is great!!!

And this is some things that Franny sent along for the ride. Neat stuff for my art work! I just now was able to do your tag Franny and will send it out soon.

My partner for this swap was Jane over at http://www.anythingbutplainjane.blogspot.com/ . For her A letter she used the word art, and made this great ATC. Love it Jane yours will be in the mail soon. And speaking of mail look at the neat mail art she did with the envy! Fantastic Jane.

I hope to get back to posting now that things have settled down some what here. My dad will be staying in PA and riding back to FL with me. We plan on leaving right after labor day.  I have a couple things left to do here and then we will be on our way. This has been a very hard thing to deal with, I will be glad to get on the road. PRACTICE DOMINOS AND A TAG

Tee is having a altered domino swap and since I have never made one thought I would do a practice run today. Used the Ranger alcohol ink on these. To make this modeled look, I found out if you wait till it is almost dry you can add more ink to them, I put the ink on the pad with a dot of alcohol and dobbed it again. I used a different color on the third one. Thought I might add some Recollections flat back pearls to one of them. The stick on kind.Hear they are all finished. I put the Glossy Accents on them for the sealer. The first I added an angel scene from some card stock. Mod Podged it on. The second one with the butterfly's I stamped them on a piece of pattern paper, then Mod Podged it also. I think if white tissue paper was used the back ground would have shown up better. The third one I added the bling to it. My camera is the pits. So bad pic's. The third one as a couple bubbles in it, I tapped it on the table like everyone says to do , but they would not pop out. A little close up with the flash on, was hoping for a better pic but did not happen. This is just a practice so I don't know if I will make any thing with them or not. Also made this stocking winter tag. Some snow tex on the top with glitter, the paper had the snow flakes in it and I added the rhinestones to each one. Then made a snowman charm and added it with the fashion yarn. Glitter glue on the toe and heel.Hear is a close up. WEATHER IN MELBOURNE FLORIDA. Warming up (like it was ever cold) lol. TAGS I MADE

TAGS FOR ESTY WEATHER IN FLORIDA TODAY: Some what cool with rain. I guess most everyone is going to have a white Christmas, that would be the only time I miss the snow!

Not much going on here, today. I thought about going to the beach for the sunrise but not a good weather day for that. I did get up and take a look at the eclipse the other nite. The pic's I post today are some tags I made for esty, speaking of I did get registered and started my store, they are made with my new tag punch that I got on sale at Michael's last week. Forty % off plus another 15% with coupon from paper. They were made out of an old world atlas, really old, an old sheet music, and old book. I will post a link for my esty store as soon as it is up and going.

WEATHER IN FLORIDA: Temp low 32 with high of 60 sunny and some what cool. Nice.

Today my VTT is some old cabinet cards and photo's I picked up at a yard sale. I could not believe my luck....there were about 14 of them and only 50 cents ea. That was a great deal! They usually go high and they are in great demand in the craft/art world. I have already taken them to staples and copied them on to card stock to use in my altered art projects. Also in the pic are some vintage S&P shakers, that I am going to use to put my glitter and German glass glitter in. Much better than plastic tubes that it comes in. And also a box of card with butterfly's, and again for altered art.

I noticed going to yard sales here in Florida , there is not much in the way of old or vintage things.

Not like it is up north. Might be hard for me to get things to post here. Might have to go to antique stores and take pic's to share. Would that be cheating???

Now for what I have been working on. I got the little mini lunch boxes at WM last year after Christmas sale. They and candy in them. Collaged the out sides, and made tags for the inside. The tag was made to hold a small pic and an area on the back for journaling. I have done them with a theme, the one on the right of pic 2 is Easter theme titled "EGG HUNT" spelled out with little beads on the front with a pic of a puppy with bunny ears on! Too cute. I have a couple Christmas ones, one for babies, and a sort of generic one. I did not embellish the others that I have done, could not make up my mind if people wanted them embellished or would they want to do it.

Hi again this post I am going to try a pic again of some tags I made last week. Sent one to my

dd for her big 45 BD. Maggie and I spent the day inside as it is still raining here in NW PA but glad it's not snow. Weekend looks like some sunshine think I will go out and check the spring fowers. I love to work in the yard and fower beds. Well all for now.
