VINTAGE HALLOWEEN

VINTAGE HALLOWEEN PKG

VINTAGE BLACK CAT

VTT
Today's VTT is some vintage ephemera that I plan selling on Esty. Store not open yet hope to get it going as soon as I get to FL this winter. Leaving on Nov. 1 these are some packets I made up to use for altered art, scrap booking, and any other project that need some embellishment.
The first one is a vintage pumpkin packet, the pumpkin is one I have had since my kids were little, 1960's would be the time frame. The plastic cake picks are from the same time frame and the paper photo frame is a little older from the early 1900's found it in the attic with some family photos that I have no Idea who they are. I mean really old ! The ribbon and ric rac has been around awhile also. The rest of the pic's are some I printed of the internet.
The black cat in the second packet is the same time frame. I had when kids were little. I use to hang these things in the windows. Same ric rac as other packet, a witch cake pick, some old playing cards, I was thrilled when I found the round deck of cards! Did not know what I was going to do with them but for a 50 cents could not pass them up. I love making up these packets and I hope they sell on Esty. I will be selling other things also. I have 10 totes full of this kind of stuff to make up and sell this winter. I hope to find some place in FL to sell also. Like a craft mall.
The pic of the giant pumpkins is something I saw last week while out geocaching. I sure would hate having to dispose of them later!! But fun to look at.
I want to thank all who come and check out my blog each day and leave comments it means alot to me!
Also I was shocked to learn of the passing of one our VTT blogger last week, CC left nice comments, and had a neat blog. I'm sure she will be missed.
You can click on pic to make it larger and see all the little things that are in the packet. And see how much the pumpkings weigh, they have a sign with wt in front of each pumpkin.
Don't forget to check out our host's great blog! http://coloradolady.blogspot.com/
Blessings to all.

GREEN STUFF
DOILY & COOKIE CUTTERS

VINTAGE BOTTLE & PAIRS HANKY

PINK BRIDE BOOK

CUTE INSIDE BOOK

VINTAGE 1940's BRIDE
I know its been quite awhile since i have posted, but it has been a busy summer getting stuff purged from the house and working on fixing up things around here. But it is now winding down for this year. If you want to keep up with all that it is posted on my other blog. Check it out anyway and see what else we have been doing. LINK to blog : http://grammyandthepapillonprinces.blogspot.com/
The first 3 pic's are of some vintage green I found while packing up and purging out! An old green step stool, a vintage White House Vinegar , really pretty, vintage hand crochet doily, vintage hanky from Pairs, vintage green wood handle cookie cutters, and vintage Boonton bowl, (Melamie). Fun things. I think I will keep them for awhile. I want to open an Esty store maybe I can sell them there. I will post a link when I get it open, wont be till winter when I get to FL.
The little pink bride book I found last week at a yard sale, I really don't buy much anymore but this was to sweet to pass up for $1.00! Back in the day like when I was first married, there was something in most towns called "The Welcome Wagon" .When someone moved to town, got married, had a baby etc etc, The Welcome Wagon lady would stop and pay a visit, and bring you all kinds of goodies from local businesses, and such. Some things would be gifts and some coupons. This little book I found out after getting it home and taking a look was one of those items. I think. It was to aid you in your wedding needs with what they called their Bridal Secretary and her services. Its full of all things bride and wedding. Like a wedding planer of today I guess. It is sooooo cool, I am not sure what I am going to do with it. Maybe an Esty thing.
The book is from Livingston's in Youngstown OH. Not sure if they are still in business or not. Don't think they are. This issue was dated 1949 and was the 3rd printing.
Blessings to all
That's all for now thanks for the visit
