Here is tag of the month swap I received from Carol (no blog). Tee over at The Altered Paper hosted the swap. http://thealteredpaper.blogspot.com/Here are few things that Carol sent along with her tag. Love getting goodies!!! And also love swapping!I also got started on my family recipe mini paper bag albums. Here is some of the paper I have been cutting. And in the pic above is  my ATG gun I got last year 40% off at Joanne's. I try not to get anything with out coupons.I have also decided that I want to start next year and do a couple of craft show. Make some extra money for my camping and travel trips. I am hoping that the paper craft thing will go over good. Like the mini paper bag albums, for starters. Got a few other ideas for selling. Will play it by ear. Still will be swapping!
Waiting for Friday to come along to pic up my rig. I think friend Pearl is going to come along with a pad and pen taking notes to help me remember everything! Dad thought it might be to long a day for him.

LETTER C ATC & NEWS !!!

Here is my letter C ATC card for the swap the Tee is holding over at The Altterd Paper. She holds great swaps go and join in. C is for cat, since it is fall, Oct, I decided to keep in with that theme and do a holloween cat. I used some scrap book paper, torn hand made paper and scrabble tiles,and a vintage orange cat that was  for a cake topper. Love those old vintage things. My partner was Janet  of Janet's Art Play. I will post what she sent me soon.

And here are a few things that went along for the ride with this swap. Love swaps!! I will have more swaps to show you as soon as I get them.
Well ….and now for my news!!! I am in the process of fulfilling a life long dream…… traveling in an RV. Sooo by some miracle I was able to get a Class C motor home! I will take delivery  on it Oct 19. I am so excited , I can't stand my self. lol   Please go to my other blog and read all about it. COFFIN SWAP

This is the inside of the coffin swap over at Tee’s . Painted it black and cut paper to fit inside.

Painted outside top with orange and black, glittered the black. Stamped some cobwebs then glittered them also. Fancy cut some bats from scrapbook paper.Here it is all filled. Sure was hard finding small things to fill it with. And a few things that went along for the ride. I had fun making this swap. Just what I needed. After a long dry spell.I think my partner Abby should have received it by now. I mailed out my last 3 swaps today Tee sure hope you get some more going! I am back in the groove. Got room organized so I can work. I have more to show you but will have to wait a few days till partners get them.

WHAT'S NEW.....

I finally got my mini paper bag family recipe album "stuff" organized. First pic stickers & chip board embly's.

This pic is of all the papers, cards and ribbon that I got together so far.

I also got a bunch of vintage enpherma.(sp)

Was even able to come up with a few stamps related to food  or kitchen. My room is still a mess and not very conducive to working in. Sometimes I wonder if I need all the junk I have. Hmmm.... need to work  on that thought. Sure wish I could find a group to craft with.

I have all three swaps done that I am in. But can not show you pic's until my partner's get them. WHERE DO YOU START......

This is one of my projects ....

like I said where do I start..lol This is what it started out looking like...it is a little better now...at least I can work at my desk.  I have to keep everything in this room, crafts, tools, fishing stuff, among a few things. It gets really messed up at times.

It has been a sad tough week so far for me. Remembering my brother...his estate auction was yesterday ...I am glad I was not there. 

So at lunch I took some food went here to the beach...then took a walk. Fun watching that little bird dig around for food then run like a sprinter to get away from the waves as they came back in. Was beginning to feel guilty because I left Maggie at the house. So did not stay long.....and it is still hot here.

I did start my Coffin swap over at Tee's this week...this is a sneak peak... Now I will work on the letter C ATC swap, and the Oct. Tag Swap. Sure wish I  had more to say and show you but its a little slow here right now. I still have to get the family recipe paper bag album started. For the last 6 months or so I have been gathering up stuff for this project...and have a ton of stuff. Well that's it for now thanks for looking and come back soon

This is a sweet little summer girl tag!

Sorry I don't have all the info on these swaps , it is still all packed away somewhere. You can check them out on Tee's blog. I worked in craft room yesterday, and emptied all the totes now have to find somewhere to put all my stuff. Went to a couple yard sales today looking for shelving , tables, etc but found nothing. I did make enough space on my work table to start a couple more swaps I signed up for. Well not much for today thanks for looking and come back soon

WAY BEHIND !

I will start with the swaps as I find the pic's on my puter. This one is the Alfa Atc letter B. Tee at http://thealteredpaper.blogspot.com/ and my partner was Sandra at http://www.flickr.com/photos/gwillisinc/ I dont see a blog but here is her flicker site. Sandra I love it...love those girls in the band. Thanks so very much.Here is the ATC with a few things that came along for the ride. I love getting craft mail :)

And here is the ATC that I sent Sandra. I had halloween/fall stuff so I went with that theme namely BAT.

Here is the tag, Stamped it with an all over crackle stamp made it look like cobwebs. Found a strip of a bingo card with the letter B and put a bingo chip on the no. 13. Stamped and fancy cut a bat or two with some black rick rack...and called it done.

Here are a few things that went along for the ride. I love doing swaps, and I will get caught up with posting some that I have done. If you don't see yours please email me and let me know. I did try durning this try in time to at least photo them planing on posting later.

I have been busy trying to get it together since I got back to Fl. Things to do here and my stuff as well. Working on art/craft room now , it is going to take awhile as I am purging a few things, things that I thought I might use (found at yard sales)  but never have so out they go.

I did not get a chance to work on my family paper bag recipe mini albums. So I want to start those soon and join in on a few more swaps.

I will show the mess I have in craft room next post. And see what other swaps need posted.

MADE IT... & ... A FEW SWAP TAGS

Well we made it back to Florida on Friday. Left on wed morning after having breakfast with my sister. She made it for us. Then we got to VA about 3 pm to visit with my daughter. Went to dinner with daughter, grandson and his wife. Dad got a room at the red roof inn, and Maggie and I a good sleep in the van. Morning son in law took a half day off to see us off (he had to work late on wed) so him, daughter, dad and me went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Then before we left, had to check on getting a pair of shoes. No luck. Then a stop at WM to get a battery operated fan. It was really hot in the van last nite.

 This first tag is the bathing beauties that was a swap I was in over at Tee's. http://thealteredpaper.blogspot.com/

I was really hard pressed for beach/bathing beauty scraps. I did find this one image, and that was it! So this is the tag I was able to come up with. The blue fish like thing is an old earring! I think it looks just like a fish and the hole was in the right spot for a fish eye.!

We traveled to Richburgh SC. on Thursday, 7 hrs. Lots of miles. Dad stayed at a very nice Motel 6 and Maggie & me stayed in the parking lot. Sleeping in the van again. Good thing I bought that fan because the further south we go the hotter it gets. The fan worked out very well, but I can see I will need to get rechargeable batteries and a charger. I takes 8 D batteries, and only will last 24 hrs. For now it will be a must have, camping in these southern states.

The next tag is a fall for the tag of the month over at Tee's again. This one I had better luck with, I had the pumpkin paper and the orange ribbon, and the pumpkin colored buttons. So was able to do this one easy :)

 And a few things that went along for the ride. I know I am way behind on my posting but now will get caught up. Got the van all unpacked and ready to set up my craft/art room. It will be in the Florida room again. I wish I had room inside the house for it, but to to be. It is very hot and muggy here, and rainy. Storms going thur all the time, one right now.

Thanks to all the kind words expressed with the lose of my brother in July. I just don't have the words to say anything, it is still so hard for me. Thanks all. Come back and visit soon, I will be posting more often now.

A COUPLE OF SWAPS

Here are a couple of swaps I received in the last few weeks. This one was from Tee's Bathing Beauties swap. My partner for this swap was Franny what a wonderful tag this is. I love it Franny. Franny does not have a blog. You should go for one Franny your work is great!!!

And this is some things that Franny sent along for the ride. Neat stuff for my art work! I just now was able to do your tag Franny and will send it out soon.

And over at Tee's again she started a new swap. The Alphabet ABC.....ATC Series. This is the first one so it is the letter A. You can jump in any time with this swap, so go on over and join up! http://thealteredpaper.blogspot.com/

My partner for this swap was Jane over at http://www.anythingbutplainjane.blogspot.com/ . For her A letter she used the word art, and made this great ATC. Love it Jane yours will be in the mail soon. And speaking of mail look at the neat mail art she did with the envy! Fantastic Jane.

I hope to get back to posting now that things have settled down some what here. My dad will be staying in PA and riding back to FL with me. We plan on leaving right after labor day.  I have a couple things left to do here and then we will be on our way. This has been a very hard thing to deal with, I will be glad to get on the road. A MEMORIAL POST FOR MY BROTHER

A memorial  post for my brother Albert I Reinhart Jr. We unexpectedly lost a wonder man and member of our family. Rest In Peace baby brother. I miss you so very much !

VINTAGE THINGY THURSDAY & CRAFTY STUFF

Hi all, well it has been awhile since I have joined you all in the VTT over at http://coloradolady.blogspot.com/ I had sold off all my vintage items and had nothing to share, even tho I watched often what was going on with all the vintage. So now that I have collected a few vintage thingy's I thought I would stop by and share.

This is just part of my vintage hand crochet pot holders. The ones I have with me and the few that I got at some yard sales is what is in this batch. I have a whole lot of red ones at my dad's in Florida, I put them up in the kitchen. I really love those little dresses! I do have a few other vintage things that I can do a couple more weeks of VTT.

 Here is a sneak peak at my fairy page, if it turns out ok, I will be joining that fairy page book swap that I told you about before. Been looking at yard sales for fairy's and have turned up not a thing.

Yesterday I did a little tea dye project, but used instant coffee and not tea. I want to do some grungy altered art things and don't have much with me. So did these for a start. Dipped then in the very strong coffee and hung them on the clothes line to dry.

It has been so hot here in PA, that not much is getting done on the house. It is hotter here than in Melbourne. Go figure.

BUTTON'S - BEADS & MORE

Went to a few yard sales last week and found a few crafty items. This vintage tin full of vintage button's! Can you believe it over 5 lbs of vintage buttons. I now am officially a button collector. This tin full was only $5.00.

And also got this plastic container full of all kinds of beads. Good for my stick pins and charms. Only a buck. So I gobbled them right up, a few necklaces made with glass beads were in there.

 And got this at a really neat yard sale it was more like a junk yard sale! Was huge! At another place in time I would have had a field day there. But this and four old bottles is all I got. A buck for these and 25 cents each for the bottles.

I got my sewing envy swap ready to send. I forgot to take pic, so will unload it and take pic. Good thing I didn't seal it up. I am thinking of joining an altered fairy book swap. Not sure because I have to fairy's and no printer. So have to see what I can come up with before I commit. Hopefully I will have more art and craft to tell you about soon, all for now thanks for looking and come back soon

I have not crafted much since I got home to PA. Now that I am organized I got started on the house and helped with a few family matters, I can start again. Did my tag of the month and got it sent. Cant take a pic till she gets it, might be awhile she is in England.This tag is the one I received in the dress form swap, I don't know if I showed it or not but here it is. I also decided to start doing the Vintage Thingy Thursday again. So you can check that out tomorrow. Have not had any vintage to show but have a few new things I picked up hope to sell at the flea market. Hope to have more altered art and crafting to show you real soon.
