Hi all...here is my VTT for tonite...Don't ya just love old vintage jewelry? I do, but I don't ware much jewelry ....I just like it. Use to sell a ton of it in my store....and have a ton of it left....been trying on and off last few yrs to sell it on ebay...this is one lot I had for sale. To let you know how much I have left ....it is two large WMart totes full and very heavy. Also have been taking it to the flea market but very slow sales and I have it marked cheap cheap. Like $ 1 a piece. A lot of it is marked but some is not. I would buy a whole box load at an auction and couldn't wait to get home to pour over it...was like Christmas lol. Well guess thats all for now don't forget to vist VTT host http://coloradolady.blogspot.com/

I am the same way, only with vintage Buttons. It is always fun to see what you pull out of a lot bought bunch of goodies. I see a lot of jewelry dealers around here, and think that the vintage jewelry is pretty lucrative around here still. Have a great VTT.
ReplyDeleteI have a red apple pin that belonged to my mother. I thought it would be fun to collect more apple pins, but I haven't seen any among the vintage jewelry at shows.
ReplyDeleteI have a gold leaf pin without the pearl but the shape is the same. Vintage jewelry is nice to repurpose on a purse. You've got some lovely pieces to do that.
ReplyDeleteLove all the jewelry! I've been trying to pick up pieces whenever I see them cheap, because I want to make one of those Christmas trees made out of vintage jewelry. Have you seen them? You glue the pieces on a board, in the shape of an Xmas tree, then you frame it. Very pretty!
ReplyDeletei like the idea of a using vintage jewellery to make a Christmas tree picture :)
